Port Blair, July 8: Applications are invited for admission through Entrance test to be held on 21st August 2011 to B.Ed. Program for Academic session January 2012 under Regional Centre, Port Blair. It may be noted that the admissions shall be granted to pursue the program from any of the program Study Centre under IGNOU Regional Centre, Chennai/other places. 

 

The total number of seats to which admissions are to be made is restricted to 100 students. The admissions shall be as per the norms and provisions notified by IGNOU in its Student handbook/ Prospectus. If in due course of time, the program Study Centre is established in Andaman & Nicobar, such students shall be transferred to the concerned Program Study Centre in Andaman & Nicobar either during the session or at the end of the session. 

 

The decision in this regard by IGNOU and its Regional Centre Chennai/ Port Blair shall be binding on candidates of this (A&N) Region. Such students shall have to perform all the requisite activities at Program study centre allotted. The entrance tests shall be held at IGNOU Study Centre 0201, JNRM, Port Blair. Forms can be downloaded and submitted to the concerned Regional Centre as per the guidelines. Last date for completed form to reach IGNOU Regional Centre is 15th July 2011. Incomplete and ineligible candidatures shall be rejected summarily, the Regional Director IGNOU said here in a communication.
