Port Blair, July 6: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, INTUC & Patron Andaman & Nicobar Medical Employees Union accompanied with other office bearers of the Union held a meeting with the Director of Health Services on 05/07/2011 to discuss and find out early settlement of various long pending genuine grievances of the Employees particularly related to payment of Patient Care Allowance to the employees who have served in dispensaries, Health Centers etc. prior to 01/04/2009, restoration of Hospital Patient Care Allowance, timely and regular supply of uniforms and liveries to the out station PHC, UHC etc., filling up of vacant posts as most of the RRs for the posts have been amended as per 6th Pay Commission Recommendation, Payment of enhanced washing allowance to all ACP/MACP cases of employees.

 

The Director of Health Services has assured to attend the grievances of the employees expeditiously and settle the same and early as possible in time bound manner.
