Port Blair, July 7: Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, INTUC & President, Industrial Employees Union accompanied with other bearers of the Union held a meeting with the Joint Secretary & Director of Industries on 07/07/2011 to discuss and find out early settlement of various long pending grievances of the Employees. The grievances are particularly related to ratification of anomalies in the recently notified recruitment rules, development of the workmen at various training-cum production centers on utility and need basis, timely and regular supply of uniforms and liveries at the revised rates, early settlements of ACP/MAVP cases of employees, filling up of vacant posts, reduction of payment of stipend to the trainees etc.

 

The Joint Secretary & Director of Industries gave assurances to attend the grievances of the employees and to settle the same as early as possible.
