Port Blair, Aug. 22: The President Pradesh Congress Committee, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma had met the Secretary cum Commissioner (Education), Shri Bhupinder Singh Bhalla on 17th August, 2012 and apprised him that 297 temporary posts of Aya/Safai Karmachari and 297 temporary posts of primary teachers have fallen vacant in the Education Department.
The Aya/ Safai Karmachari and Primary teachers etc. have rendered their services to the Education Department in the same posts for last 10 to 20 years but due to some administrative reasons their services have been terminated. Most of them have crossed the prescribed age limit for seeking govt. job.
The PCC President therefore requested the Commissioner-cum-Secretary Education to provide relaxation to these candidates and to consider cases of such terminated employees.
