Port Blair, Sept. 12: An 8 weeks training on Food production (catering) and 6 weeks training on Food and Beverage (Restaurant services) at National Institute of Tourism Hospitality Management (NITHM), Hyderabad is being organised. Unemployed youth those who have passed 8th std and not completed 28 yrs of age as on 01/10/2012 can apply for the training.

The training is free of cost and stipend will be given to the trainees. The trainees who belong to these Islands have to pay the transportation charge from Port Blair to Hyderabad and back as well as they have to pay the charges for breakfast and dinner. Hostel facilities will be arranged by NITHM on nominal charge of Rs. 300/- and the expenditure of breakfast, dinner and hostel charges may be reimbursed/ adjusted from the stipend.
