Sir,

First of all, I would like to mention that since there is not much live media here in Andamans, corruption and the so called "Gundagardi" is increasing day by day. And the newspapers here don’t highlight all these things because either they are feared of political pressure from local parties or feared by the Gundas itself.

The private bus terminus is placed next to the Mohanpura School and Colony. Except the people of the colony and the school kids can understand how much trouble the buses placed there is causing. Most of the buses, when they leave for their destination, block the main road for 10-15mins in a cris-crossed manner. This prevents other vehicles to move forward. When those travelers request these bus drivers of these private buses, to give them side, the drivers start abusing, threatening and use foul languages. They threaten the travelers by saying "Jaante nahi hum kaun hai", Apna Rasta Naapo, "Kaat Dalenge" etc. This is simply Gundagardi! These bloody Gundas are supported by the political parties themselves. That is why they get the guts to talk badly with other travelers and passing by persons... I have seen some IRBn and local police placed there to control these things, but they just stand like a Silent statue. They dont perform their duties well... and the Local police is best in making challans for two-wheelers. They don’t touch these bus drivers out of fear , what a joke ....

You people never highlight these issues in papers nor do you research about this... The problem is, Local Media is feared of Political Party Gundas. But very soon, all the corruption done by political babus and the sahebs and the gundagardi will be highlighted and reported to the major channels in India... like the one shown on aajtalk/indiatv/ndtv/zeenews about the security loopholes in Andaman islands just after the Mumbai attack a year back
