Port Blair, March 26: A book named “Dhaninallah” depicting the beauty of Dhaninallah Mangrove Walkway & Dhaninallah beach of Middle Andaman written by Shri Samir Biswas, a Primary School Teacher attached to Govt. Primary School, Phooltala was released on 24th March 2013 by Dr. P.Viswakannan, IFS, DFO, Middle Andaman.
The book was released at a simple function arranged at the sea beach of Dhaninallah in presence of Shri Hiranmoy Roy, Pradhan, Harinagar Panchayat, Smti. Lata Hegde Prasad & Shri Padmadev, ACFs, Shri Sanny Verghese, Range Officer, Betapur, Shri Natrajan, Pre-ALT(S), Shri Ram Mistry, Scout Organizer, Shri Ashish Mazumder, GRS, Uttara Panchayat and tourists & public.
The book written in Bengali will be of great help to the tourists and the local people to know about the natural beauty of Dhaninallah and the eco-tourism initiatives undertaken recently. During the release function, while appreciating the efforts taken by the author, the DFO, Middle Andaman requested him to get the book translated in Hindi & English so that it benefits all.
