Port Blair, March 28: The PCC President,ShriKuldeep Rai Sharma and leaders of the party have mourned the sad demise of Kumari Arnika, aged 16 years, R/o Dairy farm, D/o Smti Tamil Selvi a patient of SOL brain. Sharma had recently requested for financial help from the Lt Governor’s relief fund for specialized treatment at Mainland. Unfortunately Arnika left for heavenly above today at GBP Hospital.

The party has also mourned the sad demise of Shri Praful Minj, aged 20 years, S/o Victor Minj, R/o Campbell Bay who lost his life on 28th March, 2013 due to drowning at Bambooflat. The party prays for eternal peace of the departed souls.

Port Blair, March 28: The PCC President, Kuldeep Rai Sharma along with a delegation of CTET passed teachers met Smti Rina Ray, Principal Secretary, Education on 25th March, 2013.  The teachers though have cleared the tough examination of CTET but yet their candidature to the post of teachers have not yet been considered while many of them are reaching to the maximum age limit prescribed to be considered in Government Job.

Sharma has also stated that, as per his knowledge, many posts of teachers are lying vacant in the department and thus requested for their immediate appointment. The Principal Secretary Education Mrs Ray has given a patient hearing and assured to look into the matter.

Port Blair, March 28: PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma along with a delegation of unemployed youths involved in water sports activities at North Bay met Shri Rupesh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman on 25th March 2013  and introduced  the youths who have started water sports activities at North Bay to become self dependent.  

In order to establish their business of jet ski rides, sofa rides, scuba diving, snorkelling, etc they have taken interest bearing loan. These personnel not only earn their livelihood through their own efforts but also promote tourism in these islands. Recently A&N Administration has issued order suspending all water sports activities at North Bay. The unemployed youths with the implementation of the order, have become stranded and horrified with regard to their business and repaying their loan.

Sharma has stated that in the era of unemployment, they have created their own self employment reducing the burden of the Administration and have also contributed towards development of tourism sector in these islands, which is the backbone of the islands. Sharma has requested the DC to allow them to run their water sports business uninterruptedly.
