Port Blair, Jan 21: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President, Mr. Rangalal Halder held an interactive session with autorickshaw drivers of Rangat on Thursday evening. Halder heard their problems and tried to resolve them.

Port Blair, Jan 21: The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Jitendra Narain along with Senior officers of A&N Administration attended the Virtual Industry Interaction Meeting to strengthen the operationalization of seaplane in India organized by FICCI in association with Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on 20.01.2022.  

Port Blair, Jan 21: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,02,704 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 18,983 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years against the target beneficiaries of 23,000. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 4076.

Port Blair, Jan. 21:  During the RT-PCR test conducted on 110 passengers who arrived here yesterday, 2 positive cases have been detected. Today, 10 flights with 537 passengers arrived, out of which, 397 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 122 passengers (4 foreign travelers) and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, Jan 20: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today met the Director of Rural Development Mr. Vinay Kumar Jindal and requested him to provide electric connection to the flood lights, which have been already installed in the playground of Guptapara Village, in front of Humferygunj Police Station.
