Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 11: As part of the Special Campaign 4.0 for institutionalizing Swachhata and disposal of pending references in the Government Offices from 2nd October, 2024 to 31st October, 2024, 20 Sites/Offices have been identified for cleaning by the Administrative Reforms and Training Wing, Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

4700 Sq. Mtrs of Government Land Restored in South Andaman District
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 10: In a decisive and well-coordinated effort to reclaim government land from unauthorized occupation, the District Administration, South Andaman successfully carried out an extensive encroachment removal drive in Garacharma, Bathubasti, Attom Pahad, and Haddo villages, recovering significant areas of government land in Ferrargunj and Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsils.
At Ferrargunj Tehsil, the revenue authorities successfully removed illegal encroachments at Manglutan village, reclaiming approximately 3000 square meters of prime government land. This area has now been duly restored to the government’s Khata, reinforcing the administration's focus on preserving state assets.
