Port Blair, July 25: On 23/07/2021, a missing complaint of Khub Singh S/o Late Ratan Singh (41) yrs R/o Caddlegunj was reported at PS Ograbraj who was missing since 21/07/2021. Upon receipt of the complaint, teams from PS Ograbraj, OP Ferrargunj & OP Tirur were constituted immediately for search operation under the head of SHO Ograbraj and with no time they have swung into action alongwith the Dog Squad and few villagers in the forest of Caddlegunj. On 24/07/2021, the tireless & rigorous efforts of the team succeeded in tracing out the missing person from the forest of Caddlegunj area.

Port Blair, July 25: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 2, 77,071 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 548 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands. A total of 79,855 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date.

Port Blair, July 25: On 24/07/2021, the report of damage of road by sinking at Delanipur was reported and the A&N Police diverted the traffic to avoid any untoward incident. Immediate after reporting of the incidence The Superintending Engineer Shri H. M. Lingaraju along with other Engineers inspected the site immediately after reporting of the incident and taken immediate measure to restore the road.

Port Blair, July 25: Ms Monika Kumari Xalxo an unemployed youth of Calicut village of South Andaman District after completion of her education was struggling to get a job.
When she heard about the Self Help Group being formed under the DAY-NRLM scheme of the Government of India and was impressed by various activities & training programs for the strengthening of DAY-NRLM SHG members, she joined Pragya SHG of her locality, under Sunrise Village Organization.
