Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 13: The ANTCC President, Shri. Rangalal Halder has formally addressed a letter to the Chief Engineer, A & N Islands, highlighting the need to repair the damaged water pipelines that have disrupted essential water supply in the villages of Rampur, Karmatang, Mayabunder, Pokadera and Webi in North Andaman.

In his letter, Halder underscored the severe impact the damaged pipeline has had on residents, noting that it has caused significant hardship by limiting access to clean and sufficient water for drinking, cooking, sanitation and other daily needs. This issue, he said, is particularly alarming as it poses critical health and hygiene risks to the affected peoples.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 13: The General Body meeting of Clerical Cadre Branch of Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association was held on 09th November, 2024 at Port Blair which discussed upon various issues pertaining to the AC Cadre employees working in Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

Speaking on the occasion, as the Chief Guest, Shri P. Sathyapal, Former President of NGOs’ Association urged upon the AC Cadre staff to do their work sincerely while knowing about their genuine rights and to fight for achieving it. He advised the members to remain united for the ongoing struggles against the anti-employees’ policies of the central government.
