Port Blair, Sept. 19: A special COVID Vaccination Camp was organized by True Vision Foundation and Maha Sagar Fisheries Co-operative Society Ltd in collaboration with District Administration, South Andaman on 18th September at Netaji Club. The camp was conducted to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are vaccinated timely.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: The ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South Andaman organized a campaign on Nurti-Garden and Tree Plantation under Poshan Abhiyan with great zeal & enthusiasm on 17th Sept 2021 by inviting farmers, farmwomen, public representatives and school girls. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about importance of nutri-garden and Millets.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: To mark 71st Birth Anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party is conducting various programe across Islands under the leadership of Shri Ajoy Bairagi, State President through Shri Sanjay Singh, State Vice President and State Incharge Seva Aur Samarpan. On 18th September, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha under the leadership of Shri N K Udhaya Kumar commenced the progamme by conducting Beach Cleanliness drive in Beodnabad, South Andaman. The waste were segregated and handed over to the concerned authorities. BJYM will be conducting similar drives apart from taking up Tree Plantation and conducting Blood Donation Camps in the next 20 days.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: A massive beach cleaning drive was organized by the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma this morning near the coastal belt of Hornbill Nest Resort, Port Blair. The drive was joined by a large number of youths including ladies.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: As per data made available, a total of 4,11,782 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands, out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,62,753 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated till date.
