Port Blair, Sept 19: The Indian Coast Guard, A&N Region organized a Coastal Cleanship drive on the occasion of International Coastal Cleanup Day-2021 on 18^th Sep 21 at Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Port Blair as part of “Swatch Sagar Abhiyan” and in line with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s appeal for mass cleanliness and sanitation campaign, through “Swachhta Hi Seva”. Owing to COVID related safety protocol which is in place, the event was limited to participation of ICG personnel only.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: The ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South Andaman organized a campaign on Nurti-Garden and Tree Plantation under Poshan Abhiyan with great zeal & enthusiasm on 17^th Sept 2021 by inviting farmers, farmwomen, public representatives and school girls. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about importance of nutri-garden and Millets.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: A special COVID Vaccination Camp was organized by True Vision Foundation and Maha Sagar Fisheries Co-operative Society Ltd in collaboration with District Administration, South Andaman on 18^th September at Netaji Club. The camp was conducted to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are vaccinated timely.

Port Blair, Sept. 19: A massive beach cleaning drive was organized by the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma this morning near the coastal belt of Hornbill Nest Resort, Port Blair. The drive was joined by a large number of youths including ladies.
