Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 3: The cargo vessel MV Chuglam will sail for Campbell Bay via Car Nicobar on Oct. 6, 2024 at 1600 hrs from Haddo/Chatham Jetty and will sail back to Sri Vijaya Puram immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at respective ports. Booking of cargo for the above sailing will commence from Oct.4, 2024 onwards between 0900 hrs & 1200 hrs at Commercial Wing.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 30: As per Order No. 2-25/2023-R/TSD/DC(SA)/4434 dt. 25.09.2024 issued by District Magistrate South Andaman, it was informed that Antinational Elements might carryout unlawful Acts in South Andaman District, which might endanger both, persons and property and they may stay in Homestays while doing preparation, reconnaissance and actual execution of the unlawful Acts and disturb public order and tranquillity in the A&N Islands.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 3: The last date for Fresh Admission for July 2024 cycle for all Programmes in online/ODL mode (except for Semester based and Certificate programmes) extends by IGNOU till 15th October 2024. The re-registration for all programs are closed now. For online Admission students are advised to log on to https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ and apply online application form at home or the nearest cyber café.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 30: The Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) was launched by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India. The program aims to provide assured, comprehensive and quality antenatal care, free of cost, universally to all pregnant women on the 9th of every month. The programme follows a systematic approach for engagement with private sector, which includes motivating private practitioners to volunteer to provide antenatal care check-up including ultrasonography for pregnant women.
