Port Blair, March 29: An educational trip was conducted for 80 students of B.Sc. Zoology and Allied Zoology (B.Sc. Botany & Chemistry) of Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Maha Vidyalaya Port Blair along with 3 faculties to learn about the on the ongoing Fish based & Animal Science field activities at Garacharma Research Complex of ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair on 28^th March 2023.

Port Blair, March 29: Ram Navami is a Hindu festival to celebrate the birth of Lord Rama to King Dasharatha of Ayodhya. Sri Ram Navami Mahotsav is being organized in Port Blair on 30^th of March 2023 by Hindu Sewa Sangh, Hindu Rashtra Shakti and Rashtra Hindu Sangathan. The highlights of the program will be “Ramnavami Rally” starting from Chunnabhatta (Ram Mandir) at 1300 hrs to Chouldari (Ram Aarti, Poojan). The program will culminate with distribution of Bhog Prasad/Annadanam for all the devotees. The HRS, HSS & RHS has requested all islander to join the celebration.
