Port Blair, Sept. 27: The cargo vessel MV Chuglam will sail for Campbell Bay via Car Nicobar & Nancowry on 01.10.2021 (Fri) at 1700 Hrs from Haddo/Chatham Wharf and will sail for Port Blair immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at respective ports. Booking of cargo for the above sailing will commence from 28.09.2021 between 0900 Hrs to 1300 Hrs at Commercial Wing. All the consigners are advised to book actual quantity of cargo to be transshipped, as no excess cargo will be allowed.

Port Blair, Sept. 27: On 23/09/2021, an accident had occurred at Chouldari, under PS Ograbraj jurisdiction leading to death of one namely Litnus Minj. Since then no family member/relative has come forward to take over the body of the deceased. The body of the deceased has been and shifted to cold mortuary of GB Pant Hospital. The family members of the aforesaid person are hereby requested to approach PS Ograbraj and take over the deceased body from GB Pant Hospital.

Port Blair, Sept. 27: A total of 4,37,706 doses of vaccine has been administered in the islands so far out of the target beneficiaries of 2, 81, 603 (approx.). A total of 1,69,979 eligible people in the age group of 18 to 44 years have been provided vaccines till date. A total of 1636 people were vaccinated today in A&N Islands.

Port Blair, Sept. 26: On the occasion of ‘Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (75 years of India’s Independence) and to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the Hindu Rashtra Shakti, A&N Islands today organised a Fit India Freedom Run 2.0 at Chouldari. The run was followed by planting of fruit bearing saplings. Shri Rakesh Chander Lal, Shri Denis Giles and Shri Sanjib Kumar Roy were invited as Chief Guests to encourage the villagers and young minds.
