Port Blair, Oct. 31: Along with the rest of the nation, the ANTCC also observed the 38th Death Anniversary of Late. Indira Gandhi, the only Women Prime Minister of India. The ANTCC also observed the Birth Anniversary of Late. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the Ironman of India which falls on the same day, at Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair.
At the outset, ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and ANTCC Chairman-Campaign Committee Shri. G. Bhasker Garlanded the portrait of the leaders followed by paying floral tributes along with all Senior Leaders, Mahila Congress, Frontal Organizations and PBMC Councilors present in the function.
Both Leaders were remembered and given tributes for their humanity and contributions towards the country.
In the present gatherings, Congress Party Leaders administered the pledge of oath to be united in the Nation. The programme concluded with singing of National Anthem.
