Port Blair, March 31: The Centralized Examination-2022-23 was conducted under the aegis of the Department of Education in 88 Govt. Secondary and Senior Secondary School for Class IX & XI from Feb. 21 to March 25, 2023 in which, 3831 students of Class IX and 4016 students of Class XI appeared in 14 subjects and 28 subjects respectively.

The overall pass percentage of Class-IX Centralized Examination-2022-23 of A&N Islands stood at 91%. Out of 88 Secondary Schools, 31 Schools viz. GSS Dairy Farm, GSS Jirkatang, GSSS Tusnabad, GSS Manpur, GSS VK Pur, GSS Harminder Bay ,GSS Govindapur, GSS Pinaki Nagar, GSSS CFO Nallah, GSS Shivapuram, GSS Nimbutala, GSS Adajig, GSSS Long Island, GSS Kaushalya Nagar, GSSS Oralkatcha, GSS Chainpur, GSSS Karmatang-10,GSS Laxmipur, GSS Shibpur, GSS Durgapur, GSS Pachimsagar, GSS Nabagram, GSS Ramnagar, GSS Kakana, GMSSS Gol Tikry, GSSS Champin, GSSS Bengali, GSSS Kapanga, GSS Mildera and GSSS Vijaynagar & GSS Gandhinagar secured 100% results.

The overall pass percentage of Class- XI Centralized Examination-2022-23 of A&N Islands stood at 87%. Out of 49 Sr. Sec. Schools, 9 Schools viz. GSSS Mannarghat, GSSS Long Island, GSSS Karmatang-10, GSSS Sitanagar, GSSS Sawai, GMSSS Gol Tikry, GSSS Bengali , GSSS Kapanga & GSSS Vijay Nagar secured 100% results.

Meanwhile, the Secretary (Education), Director (Education) and Principal, SIE has congratulated all those Secondary and Sr. Secondary Schools who have secured 100% result in the Centralized Examination-2023 and desired for such excellence from the remaining schools too in the next Academic Session 2023-2024.
