Port Blair, April 2: The Kauvery Information Centre by Kauvery Hospital was launched in Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 1st April 2023. Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands inaugurated the centre, which was attended by eminent personalities from Kauvery Hospital, Chennai.
Dr. lyappan Ponnuswamy, Medical Director, Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, Dr. Srinivas Rajagopala, Senior Consultant, Interventional Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine, Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, Dr. Swaminathan Sambandam, Senior Consultant & Lead, Multi-Organ Transplant, Kauvery Hospital, Chennai, were present during the programme.
The inauguration programme was held at Green Cross Healthcare, Garacharama.
In his address, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma expressed his happiness that a renowned hospital like Kauvery Hospital, Chennai has opened an information centre at Port Blair, which will be very helpful for Andaman & Nicobar Islands, as it needs more such healthcare infrastructures. The Kauvery Information Centre will provide valuable information and assistance to people regarding healthcare services available at Kauvery Hospital.
