Port Blair, July 31: Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, a flagship scheme of the Government of India is the world’s largest health assurance program under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI.

AB-PMJAY aims to provide cashless treatment worth Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization expenses. PMJAY Card issued to the eligible beneficiaries empowers the beneficiary to avail treatment in the empanelled hospitals across the country.

Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY has a Central Grievance Redressal Management System (CGRMS), an online portal - https://cgrms.pmjay.gov.in where beneficiaries can register grievances related to the scheme. Further, the Implementing Support Agency (ISA) of Ayushman Bharat –PMJAY, A&N Islands has set up its office at House No. MB-43, R.P. Road, Vill Dugnabad, Port Blair. The Office is housed with support executives to address the queries like PMJAY card eligibility, referral formalities and other information pertaining to the scheme.
