Port Blair, Jan. 30: A local Hindi daily ‘Sagar’ had in its news report this month had exposed the misconduct of the Manager Govt. Press towards a lady employee working under him. Reacting on the news report, the Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray immediately met the lady Smti Aisa Biwi posted as Compositor–Gr–I and learnt that Aisa Bibi had already submitted a complaint letter to the Director Information & Publicity on 10th Jan. 2012.
The MP then called upon the Director, Information, Publicity & Tourism in his office wherein the Manager Govt. Press Shri VK Mishra was also present.
“I asked Mr. Mishra regarding the incident. Mr. Mishra spoke many things in-front-of the Director, IP&T about some complaints against the ex-manager and used some words such as adultery, gambling, corruption etc. which is existing since last many years” the MP said in a communication today.
In this regard, the Member of Parliament has written to the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands to initiate proper action against the Manager for behaving ridiculously with a lady employee.
