Port Blair, July 25: Shri. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Committee Member-BJP today met the Secretary- Civil Supplies Ms. Ranjana Deswal and raised the issue of non-receipt of ration items to those Family Identity Card (Ration Card) holders whose one or more family members haven't got their respective AADHAR card connected with their Ration Cards.

He pointed out that there are large number of civilians whose few family members have got their respective AADHAR Cards already linked with their Ration Cards, but few one Or more members are yet to get it connected, still the entire family's ration is blocked and not released for no valid reason.

Port Blair, July 25: In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, the ANTCC President, Shri. Rangalal Halder with deep concern highlighted the issues arising due to the non-functioning of the Dialysis Machine at the Community Health Centre, Rangat.

He stated that the Patients who heavily rely on these machines for regular dialysis treatments are currently facing several difficulties as the situation becomes worse and further the patients are departing at Diglipur and Port Blair to get an effective dialysis treatment.

Port Blair, July 25: It has been observed that many vehicle owners approach the Transport Department for exemption of late fine attributed to delay in production of vehicles for annual fitness in the cases of commercial (Transport) vehicles and at the time of Renewal of Registration Certificate (RCR) in case of non-transport vehicles. In this regard, it is brought to the knowledge of all vehicle owners that as per Rule 81 of CMVR, 1989, the amount of late fine of Rs. 50/- per day in the case of Transport class of vehicles and Rs.300/- (for Two Wheeler) & Rs.500/- (for LMV & HMV) per month for Non Transport Class of Vehicles shall be levied after expiry of Certificate of Fitness and Certificate of registration respectively.
