Port Blair, May 11: As per Metrological Department’s weather report, heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Islands and thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph) is also likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on May 12. Meanwhile, due to the formation of Cyclone over Southeast Bay of Bengal and very likely intensification of the system, fishermen of Andaman & Nicobar coasts have been advised not to venture into the sea till May 14.

Port Blair, May 11: In view of cyclonic storm ‘Mocha’, the Directorate of Shipping Services keeping in view the safety of passenger and vessels has postponed the schedule sailing of DSS vessels in the Inter Island sector.  Accordingly, the schedule sailing of MV Campbell Bay for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 12.05.2023 at 1000 hrs from Haddo Wharf and return to Port Blair on 14.05.2023 at 0900 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry & Little Andaman has been postponed. Now, the vessel MV Campbell Bay will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 14.05.2023 at 1000 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 16.05.2023 (Tue) at 0900 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry & Little Andaman, subject to the weather conditions.

Dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman District is hereby notifies for the information of all concerned that the road from Murugan Temple Junction to Rama Krishna Mission road will be closed for all the vehicles movements for Seven Days w.e.f 12.05.2023 to 18.05.2023.
