Port Blair, April 16: April 18th is celebrated as World Heritage Day and INTACH Andaman and Nicobar Chapter this year took the event to far away Kanyapuram.
Students of Govt. Middle School, Kanyapuram participated in a creative painting workshop organized by INTACH on April 16, 2023. INTACH donated the book “Anmol Dweep” to 60 students and they had a lot of fun coloring away.

Port Blair, April 16: Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, (Retd), Hon’ble Lt. Governor A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency led the Islanders in paying rich tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on his 132nd Birth Anniversary yesterday. At a solemn function held at the statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar near the main entrance of Dr. B R Ambedkar Auditorium, PBMC. Hon’ble Lt. Governor paid floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

Port Blair, April 16: Fit India Movement was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister with an aim to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness, encouraging people to include physical activities in their day to day lives. As part of the movement, A&N Fire Service organized 5 km Walkathon today for personnel of all units of Police Department, defence personnel, college students, general public etc. to make them aware about fire and life safety. Around 160 people participated.

Port Blair, April 16: The A&N Administration had released a Press Release in the Daily Telegram dated 09.04.2023 regarding the Skills Test (Tier-II & III) Computer Based Typewriting Speed Test and Shorthand test to fill up the 465 vacancies of LGC/LDC and 41 vacancies of Stenographer (OG) based on the scores/merit shared by Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi, wherein the candidates were advised to download their Admit Cards from the website www.karmic.andaman.gov.in and http://Is.and.nic.in:8080/home on or after 15.04.2023 onwards.
