Port Blair, Sept. 6: Central Crime Station police in its continuous efforts to crackdown on bootlegging, illegal and spurious liquors, strikes hard against bootleggers and conducted a Jungle search operation at Rangachang No.4 jungle Maccapahar area.

Port Blair, Sept. 4: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, has requested the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Health), A&N Administration for conducting an impartial enquiry on the grievances and allegations levelled by Dr. Priya, Senior Resident Doctor of ANIIMS, Port Blair. Through her post in social media, Dr. Priya has expressed her mental agony, stress, grief and trauma which she had to undergo during her advanced stage of pregnancy. She has alleged that the negligent and egoistic attitude of alleged Doctors belonging to Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of ANIIMS ultimately resulted in loss of her child at time of delivery.  

Port Blair, Sept. 4: The Non Gazetted Govt. Officers' Association, A&N Islands denounce the renewed move of the Government of India  to unilaterally and on absolutely  arbitrary grounds, impose conditions for forced premature retirement on the Government employees vide Office memorandum No.25013/03/2019-Estt.A-IV dated 28th August 2020 issued by Ministry of Personnel, Public grievances and pensions ,Department of Personnel and Training.
