Port Blair, April 24: The Department of Fisheries organized a painting competition on the occasion of World Earth Day at the Fisheries Museum -cum- Aquarium on April 22, 2023. The students did painting inside the Fisheries Museum -cum- Aquarium where they were surrounded by live marine fishes. The students enjoyed painting inside the aquarium as they were also painting on themes related to fishes and their surroundings.

Port Blair, April 24: The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) coordinated a Voluntary Blood Donation camp which was organized by Sant Nirankari Mandal Branch, Chouldari, Port Blair at Community Hall, Chouldari, on 23/04/2023. A total of 71 units of blood were donated by voluntary donors.

Port Blair, April 23: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to convert the parking area of GB Pant Hospital into a multilevel parking area.
He said that this will help accommodate hundreds of vehicles without blocking the road of GB Pant hospital and will also ensure the smooth movement of ambulances during emergencies.

R Kashthuri Bhai, a class IX student of GDMS Middle Point, Port Blair makes islanders proud again by securing First position in the women category of Cademic Chess Carnival Rapid 4th International FIDE Rated tournament 2023 held in Thiruvanthapuram, Kerala from 22.04.2023 to 23.04.2023.
