Port Blair, March 29: General public have been informed that due to shortage of operational vessels, the Directorate of Shipping Services is forced to cancel the existing daily sailing schedule for Swaraj Dweep at 1700 hrs from Port Blair and return voyage next day at 0600 hrs from Swaraj Dweep to Port Blair with effect from 01.04.2023. However, on availability of sufficient operational vessels, the service will be resumed accordingly.

TB Score is a composite score calculated from a selected list of 9 key performance indicators, for continuous monitoring of the programmatic performance at all levels under National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP).

Diglipur, March 28: It was a dream come true for the small children of the remote Parangara secondary school of North Andaman when they saw the children’s park- ‘Muskaan’ being inaugurated today.

Inaugurating the Park, the Deputy Education officer Shri R.P Pandey said that its very pleasing to see the National Education Policy being implemented in true letter and spirit in remote rural areas like Parangara. Elaborating the objectives, he said that prior to age of 5, every child will move to a ‘Preparatory Class’ or ‘Balvatika’ before Grade-I with a focus on developing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities and also early literacy and numeracy. The children would enjoy the play based school preparation module, he hoped. Shri Pandey appreciated the school management saying that it always strives to add new features to the school for making the teaching learning environment more joyful and interesting for the children.
