Port Blair, April 20: On 18/04/2023, a Wind Ball T-10 Night Cricket Tournament being organised in loving memory of Late. A total of twelve teams are participating in the T-10 Night cricket tournament. Shri. Jai Bhagwan Sharma was inaugurated at Netaji Sports Complex, Mayabunder. Shri. Ankit Yadav (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman was the Chief Guest on the opening ceremony of the cricket tournament.

Port Blair, April 20: The A&N Administration had issued a press release on April 9,2023 regarding the Skill Test (Tier-II & III) Computer Based Typewriting Speed Test and Shorthand test to fill up the 465 vacancies of LGC/LDC and 41 vacancies of Stenographer (OG) based on the scores/merit shared by Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi, wherein the candidates were advised to download their Admit Cards from the website www. karmic.andaman.gov.in on or after 18.04.2023 onwards.

Port Blair, April 19: On behalf of a large number of Islanders, the Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has expressed his apprehension about the lack of alternative roads on various stretches of the National Highway - 4 (Andaman Trunk Road).
During his recent meeting with the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament mentioned that the stretch from Garacharma to Sippighat which is one of the busiest portions of NH-4 has no alternative road which is a major cause of concern. In the event of this road getting obstructed/ damaged, the movement of people and goods on the Andaman Trunk Road (NH-4) comes to a total standstill.
