Port Blair, Oct. 26: SAMFAR Events will be organising a Men’s Physique competition called ‘Body Hunt 2’. The aim of the competition is to bring awareness about man physique and encourage health and fitness among the youth of the Islands.

Discussed various Infra/Developmental Mega projects being implemented by Andaman & Nicobar Administration under the aegis of Islands Development Agency.

Port Blair, Oct. 26: Acting on a specific intelligence input received from reliable source, Police team from Central Crime Station consisting of SI M.A Rasheed, Head Constables Sanjay Kujur and Constables N.Thangaraj & Raja Rao intercepted one person namely Utpal Dhali S/o Sh. Patitpaban Dhali R/o Netaji Palli, Barasat, North 24 Parganas at ITF Ground, VIP Road who arrived Port Blair from Kolkata on 26/10/2022 by flight. During checking of his personnel belongings, 4.320 Kgs of Ganja which was clandestinely concealed in the bag was seized and accused person was arrested observing all codal formalities.

Port Blair, Oct. 26: The Hope Foundation (NGO) is making every possible effort for the better future and health for women and child. Keeping in view the hike in breast cancer cases in India and to aware the women of these Islands about the disease, the NGO organised an awareness programme on breast cancer on 24/10/2022 at Ograbraj Community Hall under Gram Panchayat Mithakhari. Smti. Pramila Kumari,  Adhyaksha ZPSA graced the programme as chief guest and encouraged the women to attend all such kinds of awareness camps.
