Port Blair, April 11: A general body meeting was held on 10th April 2022 at Hotel TSG Grand, Dollygunj with multi-disciplinary private practicing doctors after a long gap due to COVID restrictions. In the meeting, Dr Rohindra Lal, Ophthalmologist was unanimously nominated as President, Dr. Dinesh, Dental Surgeon as General Secretary. Among the others who were nominated as office bearers were Dr A. P Bharadwaj, Pediatrician as treasurer, Dr Ritika Gupta, Pathologist as Vice- President, Dr Mitesh Behari, Neuro Psychiatrist as Joint Secretary apart from four executive members.

Port Blair, April 11: Laying emphasis on the interest of college students of A&N Islands, the National Students Union of India's State General Secretary Mr. Saurav Nair has constituted a nine-point charter of demands and submitted a memorandum regarding the same to the Hon'ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands on Monday for immediate redressal.

Port Blair, April 11: The newly elected PBMC Chairperson, Smt. U. Kavitha, Sr. Vice Chairperson Shri Azizur Rehman and Jr. Vice Chairperson Smt. A. Selva Rani called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas. The Lt. Port Blair, April 11: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 251 incoming flight passengers yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Today, 16 flights with 2682 passengers arrived, out of which, 2341passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 269 passengers and the reports are awaited.
