Port Blair, Sept. 10: Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Islands and thunderstorm and lightning accompanied with gusty wind (speed reaching 40-50 kmph) is also likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 11, 12 & 13. Thunderstorm and lightning accompanied with gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 14.

Port Blair, Sept. 10: Firing practice will be carried out by Coast Guard at Chinthe Long Range, Brichgunj on Sept. 21 & 22 from 9.30 am to 5 pm. All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their livestock away from firing area during the mentioned date and time.

Port Blair, Sept. 10: Firing practice will be carried out for Small Arm Firing Practice at Chinthe Long Range on Sept. 15 and 19, 2023 and at Baffle Range on Sept. 16 and 27, 2023 from 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm (Day firing) and from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm (Ni firing). All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their livestock away from firing area during the mentioned date and time.

Port Blair, Sept. 7: Shri. Nicholas Low, British Deputy High Commissioner, Kolkata today called on the Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma at MP Office, Port Blair.
The meeting was an invaluable opportunity for the Member of Parliament to engage with Shri. Low on an array of subjects, primarily focused on the welfare and holistic development of our island community.
