Port Blair, Sept. 24: INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) has been conducting national level competitions every year. In this regard, an essay and illustrations competition on ‘Nature in Danger’ was held last year. In spite of the pandemic, Kendriya Vidyalaya II had not only participated but also bagged the Regional Winner Award.

Neshitha of Class VIII was declared the Regional Winner from amongst nearly 15000 participants from across the country.

Felicitating the island girl, a trophy was awarded to her by the Convenor INTACH, A&N Chapter, Ms. Samhita Veda Acharya and Shri. Abhijit Agarwal, Member INTACH in the presence of Shri Vijay Kumar, Principal KV II.

Certificates of Appreciation and INTACH Newsletters were also given to the 12 other participants. INTACH A&N Chapter has expressed gratitude to the School and its Principal in particular for their participation.
