Port Blair, Dec. 29: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma attended the 37th Annual Athletic Meet of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Sr. Sec. School (E.M.) in Pathergudda, Port Blair on December 28, 2023 as the Chief Guest.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement as students showcased their athletic prowess in various events, competing with enthusiasm and dedication.
Addressing the gathering the Member of Parliament expressed his admiration for the exemplary sportsmanship displayed by the students and commended the school's management for their excellent organization of the athletic meet.
Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma highlighted the pivotal role that school life plays in shaping an individual's future. "School life is the most crucial part of anyone’s life, and all students must make the best use of this time. Focus on studies can transform your future life," remarked Sharma.
He emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and other social evils, urging students to adopt a healthy lifestyle by actively participating in sports and incorporating regular exercise.
"The key to a successful and fulfilling life is maintaining a healthy mind in a healthy body. Engaging in sports not only builds physical fitness but also instils discipline, teamwork, and resilience," added the MP.
