Rangat, Jan 1: A discreet and diligent effort by IRBn Ct Subol Bepari of PS Rangat yielded valuable information from a reliable source about illegal liquor production operation in the dense jungle of Shyamkund, Bakultala.

Acting swiftly on this tip, Inspector R.K Mazumder formed a specialized team consisting of ASI Samayamuthu, I/C OP Bakultala, HC Mohan Rao, PCs Pradeep Topno, Pranab Halder, and Ct Subol Bepari executed a meticulously planned raid, venturing deep into the dense Shyamkund forest. The proactive team successfully seized a significant quantity of 750 liters of illicit liquor, along with containers, various utensils, and timber materials used in the production process. These materials were discreetly hidden at multiple locations within the jungle. Subsequently, all confiscated items were promptly destroyed, dealing a major blow to the illegal liquor manufacturing network.

The entire operation was carried out under the vigilant supervision of Shri. Vishesh Dhatterwal, DANIPS, SDPO Rangat, and the overall direction and supervision of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District.
