Port Blair, April 24: The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, confers the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) to give due recognition to the young brave hearts who have done selfless acts of Exceptional bravery for others and to young children with exceptional abilities and outstanding achievements who are role models and have had widespread and visible impact on society in the fields of Sports, Social Service, Science & Technology, Environment, Arts & Culture and Innovation, which deserve due recognition at the national level.

These Awards are conferred by the Hon’ble President at New Delhi in a special ceremony/ function to be held in January every year. In this connection, the portal for receiving the applications for the PMRBP-2025 (https://awards.gov.in) has been made live on 01.04.2024. Any child, above the age of 5 years and not exceeding 18 years (as on 31st July of this year), who is an Indian Citizen and residing in India, may apply for the award.    Application for the PMRBP will be received only on the online portal https://awards.gov.in designed for this purpose. The last date for receipt of the online application forms is 31.07.2024.

Deserving candidates who have made exceptional contribution in any of the fields of Bravery, Sport, Social Service, Science & Technology, Environment, Arts & Culture and Innovation may be nominated.
