Port Blair, April 30: The ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker has written a letter to the Hon'ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and drew his attention towards the 500+ Govt. Posts which were left unfilled/abolished due to Administrative Reasons and ineligibility of candidates in Trade/Skill test during the recent MTS Examination held in 2023.

In the letter Mr. Bhasker said that the A&N Administration had advertised 2,520 posts of Matric Level and the examination for it was conducted in July, 2023. Later, on 06th February, 2024, the Administration had issued a Press Release stating that 248 posts out of 2,520 posts will remain unfilled due to the candidates not able to fulfill the eligibility criteria for certain posts having Trade/Skill test.

"Also, around 300 posts were withdrawn due to unknown Administrative Reasons", alleged Mr. Bhasker.

He added that this announcement of Administration after completion of the exam has put thousands of aspirants in distress. Youths and their parents are aggrieved on the step taken by Administration by compromising the future of many.

Mr. Bhasker condemned this withdrawal of posts and false hope given to the youths of Andaman & Nicobar. He requested the Hon'ble Lt. Governor to fill up the unfilled/withdrawn posts failing which he cautioned that Congress Party will organize Mass Demonstration in entire Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
