Port Blair, May 7: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress President, Shri. Rangalal Halder has addressed a critical issue to the Directorate of Health Services regarding the severe shortage of doctors at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Garacharma.

In his letter Mr. Halder said that the CHC Garacharma plays a vital role in providing healthcare services to the patients but the current shortage of doctors has resulted in significant challenges for patients seeking medical attention.

In addition, he stated that despite the increasing number of patients, the existing number of doctors is insufficient to meet their demand, leading to extended waiting times, delayed treatments, and compromised quality of care.

Recognizing the urgency of the matter, Mr. Halder urged the Directorate of Health Services to rectify the situation by allocating additional medical personnel at the facility to ensure timely and adequate medical attention for the patients.
