The Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association, A &N Islands deeply mourn the demise of two of its members yesterday, the 31st  May 2021. Shri P Sivasubramaniam, Aged 52, Plant Operator, Fisheries Department, R/o Aberdeen Bazar died at GB Pant hospital due to Covid-19. He is survived by his wife and two children. He was a  former Secretary of the Fisheries Department Sub Committee of the Association. The Association recalls his contributions to the employees’ movement and pays rich tributes in his memory.

Shri Biju Jacob, Proprietor, Andaman Residency, Port Blair breathed his last at Chennai at about 11.30 pm (30.05.2021). He had been suffering from health issues since some time.

Biju Jacob is also the President of YMCA, Port Blair and an active member of Andaman Hotel Owners Association. He has also been very active with Carmel Alumni, Port Blair. He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter.

The Managing Committee and members of the Tribal Development Council, A&N Islands have expressed their deepest condolences on the passing away of Shri. Yusoof Jadwet on Saturday evening at 6:49 pm (29th May 2021) in Port Blair. He served as a Managing Director of the Tribal Cooperative Society EHL (Ellen Hinengo Limited) for almost 40 years since 1967.

Shri Yusoof Jadwet had maintained very close ties with the Rani Family of Nancowry since over four decades and he always stood by the Family in times of happiness and needs.

The sad demise of Shri Yusoof Jadwet is also being mourned by Rani Fathima, Shri Rashid Yusoof, President, Nicobar Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Smti. Aysha Majid, Chairperson, Tribal Council, Nancowry and all members of Nicobar Youth Association who have expressed their heartfelt condolences. The members pray to the Almighty for eternal rest of the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

The Chairman Tribal Council Shri Lionel Nicomed, Vice Chairman Shri Regionald Watchful,  along with all village captains, and the entire islanders of Carnicobar has mourned the demise of Hajee Yusoof Jadwet. Hajee Yusoof Jadwet was a respected figure in the Nicobar District and has worked dedicatedly for the economic upliftment of the Nicobarese tribe. Shri Jadwet will always be remembered for his extraordinary service in the island since 1967 . We pray for the departed soul and may Almighty rest his soul in peace.

Shri Rajesh Kumar Lall, State Spoke Persons, Hindu Rastra Sakthi, ANI expressed shock and grief at the demise of  Shri Goutam Roy, S/o Shri Ganesh Roy, R/o Manpur. He passed away yesterday in G B Hospital around 9:30 PM.  May his soul rest in peace.

Shri Yusoof Jadwet was the Managing Director of the tribal Co-operative society EHL for four decades. He played a commendable role to sort out various hardships of Govt. employees posted at Car Nicobar when he was the MD of EHL. The Association conveys heartfelt condolences to the members Jadwet family.

Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Andaman & Nicobar Islands along with all senior leaders of Pradesh Congress Committee have deeply mourned the untimely demise of Shri P Bhima Rao, National Executive Member in All Indian Fisherman Congress Committee, Ex City Congress General Secretary, R/o Dairy Farm who left for heavenly abode on 25/05/2021 and pray to Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
