Port Blair, Dec. 28: On 23rd December 2023, the 67th Police Constable Batch of Andaman & Nicobar Police donated an amount Rs. 60,000/- towards treatment of two girls who met with an accident at Dhanikhari. The “Seva Cops” also distributed fruits and some necessary items to victim’s family. Both sisters’ treatment is undergoing at G.B. Pant Hospital, Port Blair. After interaction with their mother, she replied “You people have come like God and helped our family, God bless you all”.

Port Blair, Dec. 28: In exercise of power conferred under M.V. Act 1988 (Act No.59 of 1988) read with Administrations Notification dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman District has notified for the information of all concerned that all vehicular movement are to be diverted for 30 days from 28.12.2023 to 26.01.2024 from St. Xavier School, Mannarghat to Sahara Village Organization (NRLM) via Forest Range Office, Mannarghat for improvement and widening of State Highway No. 10 from Wimberlygunj to Wright Myo under RCD, Wimberlygunj.

Port Blair, Dec. 28: The vessel Sindhu will sail from Port Blair to Chennai on Dec.31, 2023 at 1600 hrs. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on Dec.30. Excess baggage/cargo required to be booked in advance at Commercial Wing, DSS. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 1400 hrs on Dec.31. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.
