Port Blair, Jan 22: As a part of Police Week Celebrations, a free Dental Checkup-cum-Awareness camp was organized by Police Family Welfare Centre on 22.01.2019 at 1600 hrs at NGO’s Mess, Police Lines, for the benefit of police personnel and their families.

Around 150 police personnel & their family members were examined in the camp by Dr. Shiwani Shahi and Dr. Yuvika Singh in the presence of President, Police Family Welfare Centre, Smt. Geeta Pathak and Superintendent of Police (AP), Smt. Usha Rangnani, IPS. 

Apart from examining the patients, the doctors briefed them about dental health & hygiene. They also explained the procedure and techniques of oral care and brushing. The participants were also offered guidance about food intake so as to prevent dental disorders.
