Port Blair, Oct. 16: The students of Master of Arts in Anthropology (MAAN) of Indira Gandhi National Open University, Regional Centre, Port Blair will be participating in the two days National Seminar on “Prospects of Anthropological Research among the Tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands”  at Anthropological Survey of India on 17th & 18th October 2019. By participating in the seminar, the students will get ideas/insights to carry out project work, filed study in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 

The Regional Centre has intimated all the Anthropology Students through SMS and phone call. The seminar highlights the significance of research work carried out by the Anthropologists of Anthropological Survey of India and other social scientists of different institutions of A & N Islands. Thus the academic benefit of National Seminar will be derived by each one of the MA Anthropology student to get placement opportunities, in future.
