Port Blair, Jan 27: “Vande Matram” – An evening of festivity was organized by Kala Kendra Society under the Department of Art & Culture on 26th January 2020 at Flag Point on the occasion of Republic Day. Artists/singers of A&N Islands namely Shri B.K. Talukdar, Shri Waahid Shah, Ms. Priyanka Talukdar, Shri Rizwan & group, Ms. Bristhi Roy, Smti. Arunima Ghosh, Shri Vazim, Ms. Srishti, Shri Ujwal & Ms. Ramzan enthralled the audience with melodious patriotic songs. A patriotic poetry was also presented by Ms. Mehrun Nisha. A large gathering at the Flag Point witnessed the programme.
