Port Blair, July 25: TheNational Union of Seafarers of India has signed the wage agreement revision pending for the periods 2008 – 2014 in the chamber of Directorate of Shipping Services on 14th July 2014. The agreement was signed by Cpt. Shri. Rajinder Kumar, Director, Shipping Services & Shri. Abdulgani Y. Serang, General Secretary cum Treasurer, National Union of Seafarers of India.
The union has congratulated the Directorate and Seafarers for their joint effort for this achievement. Shri. Dharvinder Ram, Branch Representative, NUSI has acknowledged the efforts of Cpt. Shri. Rajinder Kumar, Director of Shipping Services and his team for their support and action in the interest of Crew and their families. He also expressed his gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor, Secretary Shipping, Secretary Finance and their deputies for their support in favour of the crew and their families.
