Port Blair, Sept. 1: MakeMyTrip, India’s leading Online Travel Company along with Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry has launched a five-day customized training program in Andaman. The program has been designed to strengthen the soft skills of various stakeholders in the local travel and tourism industry. Through an interesting and interactive module, MakeMyTrip has undertaken the training of nearly 317 participants representing three sectors in the T&T Industry–local boatmen, hotel-staff and drivers.

The program being conducted in Port Blair and Havelock has been customized to suit individual requirements of the three groups. The programme focused on imparting practical knowledge to the attendees with a highly interactive format with role-plays and Q&A sessions supported by videos and presentations.

The training program concluded with the issuance of certificates to all participants.
