Anusheel and Santohoshi Emerge as Winners
Port Blair, July 29: Island Beauty Contest ‘Mr. & Miss Andaman’ was held on 26th July 2015, organised by ASCA Event Management led by Event Manager & Organiser, Lakshmi. The event was held at DBRAIT Auditorium wherein Shri Rasheed Yusoof, President Nicobar Chamber of Commerce & Industry was the chief guest. The event witnessed many young talents competing for the title and finally it was Anusheel Chakrabarty and Santhoshi who grabbed the title of Mr. & Miss Andaman. The winners were awarded with a scholarship of Rs. 2 Lakh for further training in Mumbai.
Shri Vidhur Chaturvedi (Vidur Acting Institute), Mumbai, Shri Naresh Chandra Lal, Islands’ Film Maker and Smti Komal Anand, President of Inner Wheel Club presided over the contest as judges. The event also had an excellent dance performance, choreographed by Vasu Dev (SMS) and Mary (MDC) and songs by singers Gourav, Bunty, Meeth, Ashok, Reeta Kumari, Dimpy and Sushmita. The event was anchored by Akansha.
