Port Blair, March 1: With the vision to encourage budding talent in the field of Indian Classical Music and to give them an appropriate platform for showcasing their performance, Kala Kendra Society under the Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration is organizing Indian Classical Music - Vocal & Instrumental Competition on 10th March 2022. The competition shall be conducted for the age group of 11 to 17 years.
Interested participants may send a latest video clip of their solo performance of duration 3 minutes. The entries received from the participants will be uploaded in the social media accounts like Facebook/Instagram by the department of Art & Culture. The entries in both the categories shall be first judged by a panel and then posted on the official social media handle of the department of Art & Culture. Winner shall be decided by the total number of likes against each entry. The best 3 entries in each category will be suitably rewarded with cash prizes of Rs.5,000/-, Rs.3,000/- and Rs. 2,000/- respectively.
