Port Blair, June 26: To mark the agony of the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi led Government on 25th June 1975, Black Day was observed across Islands by Bharatiya Janata Party karyakartas. The State President Shri Ajoy Bairagi observed Black Day along with other karyakartas of Diglipur.
Similarly, in State Head Office the programe was led by Shri M Vinod, State Vice President and Incharge Black Day programe along with Shri Maheshwar Lall, State Office Incharge BJP, Shri Balaji District Secretary, BJP, Port Blair City District and other karyakartas. The event was also held in Campbell Bay, Calicut, Port Blair, Kadamtala, Nimbutala, Harinagar and Diglipur. Shri Mohan Vinod expressed his gratitude towards all the team of Black Day programe and State IT Team for success of the programe across the Islands.
