Port Blair, Oct. 11: The one day Varshik Adhivesan of APWD Karmachari Sangh (AKS) was held on 09th October 2022 at Community Hall, Dairy Farm. In the inaugural session Shri. M. Veeranna, State President, BMS, Shri. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, President, Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmchari Mahasangh (ANRKM) Shri. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary, ANRKM were also present alongwith Shri. Laxman, President, AKS and Shri. Rajesh, Secretary, AKS.
Shri. Veeranna in his address appealed to bring unity among the co-workers and unitedly we can achieve any goal. Shri. Rajesh, Secretary presented the report on the activity of AKS and Shri. Laxman expressed gratitude and appealed all co – workers to join the movement.
In the second session, Shri. G. Anoop, Organising Secretary, ANRKM, addressed on Organisation setup and difference between other trade unions and BMS and stated that the focus of BMS is Nation First. In the last session of interactive, resolution was adopted on the issues of workers which is mainly on regularisation of service of all DRMs, sanction of Bonus to all DRMs the resolution passed with the slogan of Bharat Mata ki Jai, which was read out by Shri. S. Biju Pillai, GS, ANRKM.
At the end, Shri. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, President, ANRKM urged the gathering to go all level to resolve the issues and for continuous efforts to gain the goal. Shri. Raju expressed the vote of thanks to all supported organisations and individuals.
