Port Blair, April 2: The 36th Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be held on Monday, 03rd April, 2023. The main function will be held at IGNOU, HQ, New Delhi. The Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will be the Chief Guest at HQ, New Delhi and deliver the Convocation Address.
At Port Blair Regional Centre, Shri. Neeraj Thakur, IPS, DGP, A & N Islands will be the Guest of Honor for the Convocation Function and will address the graduating students and also distribute the Degrees and Diplomas at Lecture Gallery, JNRM College, Port Blair on 03rd April, 2023 between 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.
At Regional Centre, Port Blair 780 students are eligible to receive various degrees out of which, 354 students are in Master Degree, 298 students are in Bachelor’s Degree, 128 students are in PG Diploma and Diplomas and Certificate programmes.
Students who have paid the convocation fee through online mode and confirmed their participation to the Convocation are advised to be present at venue at 10.00 am.
